I will say that I never sought out to get a redneck Montana boy who could spend an entire day practicing elk calls, elk bugles, imitating car mechanics with southern accents with his cousin on the phone, trying to hill climb a mountainside on his "snowcat" (snow cats, I tell him, are giant machines used in Yellowstone National Park, not what he rides), and who would rather make his truck louder than fix his missing tooth (that he broke the cap off of by folding his beer bottle cap in half with his teeth), and we're still working on the little love sticky notes that say, "Your my favorite"--apostrophe RE!!! Or just say "You are my favorite" if you can't remember! I learned that you don't pick who you love (puke, I know), and it's true, I think, about someone coming along when you are not looking.
